Top Ten Myths about the

Fourth Time in a month Jews have been targeted

An 88-year-old white supremacist shot and killed a security guard Wednesday at the US Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington, DC, before being shot by two other museum security guards. The attack marks the fourth time in the last month that Jewish sites or people have been targeted for attack in the United States.

The man who allegedly killed a Jewish Wesleyan University student a month ago was found with a copy of the anti-Semitic "Protocols of the Elders of Zion"; police infiltrated a group of terrorists that allegedly were plotting to bomb a pair of Bronx synagogues; and the alleged shooter at an Arkansas military recruiting center was found to have conducted research on Jewish sites.

The Holocaust museum had been scheduled to host an invitation-only premiere of the play "Anne and Emmett" on Wednesday night. The production features an imaginary meeting between Holocaust victim Anne Frank and Emmett Till, an African-American lynched in Mississippi in 1955 after he was accused of whistling at a white woman.
